Building Solutions Through Partnership
Children House identifies structural barriers to community well-being and mobilizes the right partners — governments, experts, funders, and local leaders — to deliver sustainable, locally owned solutions with lasting impact.
ROOTED IN EMPOWERMENT
We do not work alone. We build ecosystems.
Children House is a solution-driven nonprofit organization. Founded in 1999, we began by supporting youth and families toward independence. Over time, we recognized that lasting change requires more than isolated projects — it requires coordination, trust, and structural alignment.
Today, we serve as a national convening platform, bringing together public institutions, technical experts, impact investors, and community leaders to address systemic challenges across sectors.

Our Strategic Edge
What makes us different
We Identify Structural Barriers
We look beyond symptoms to understand root causes, conducting field-level assessments to identify institutional and logistical obstacles.
We Mobilize Strategic Partnerships
We bring together the right technical, financial, and institutional actors to ensure project viability.
We Anchor Community Trust
We ensure solutions are locally understood, accepted, and sustained through deep community engagement.
We Enable Implementation
We create the conditions for successful delivery by bridging the gap between global ideas and local action.
From Alignment to Action
Our current focus areas
Community Health
& Access
We collaborate with technical partners to remove barriers to clean water and public health infrastructure through the Liberia WASH Initiative.
Sustainable Agriculture & Economic Inclusion
We support multi-stakeholder agricultural initiatives that strengthen food security and rural livelihoods through institutional cooperation.
Youth & Family Empowerment
We continue our foundational work in capacity-building, providing tools for long-term independence and social stability.
What We Do
Three Pillars for Lasting Autonomy

Access to Water
& Health
We deploy the Liberia WASH Initiative to remove major barriers to autonomy.
By rehabilitating water points and engaging communities, we ensure that health is no longer an obstacle to growth.

Training & Independence.
Our historical core focuses on strengthening the autonomy of youth and families.
We provide practical training and skill development to guide households toward durable economic independence

Safety
& Education.
We believe stable families are the lever for long-term stability.
Our programs provide social protection and access to education for vulnerable children, keeping the family unit at the center of our action
